There are four steps to enrolling at Wooloowin State School.
Step 1: Consult Enrolment Management Plan
Check if you live within the Wooloowin State School catchment map.
Wooloowin State School has an Enrolment Management Plan which means we have limited ability to accept enrolments outside our school’s catchment area.
Step 2: Complete an Enrolment application
Prepare supporting documentation
We require the below supporting documents with your Student Enrolment Form.
- Sighting your child’s ORIGINAL birth certificate
- Residential proof documents for families living within the Wooloowin State School catchment area.
- We may require further documentation depending on your personal circumstances.
Step 3: Enrolment interview
Our Enrolment Officer will next arrange an enrolment interview between your family and our leadership team. You will be provided a tour of our school and can ask any questions at this interview. Important school policies and procedures will be provided and discussed.
Please bring:
- Your child so that we can meet them.
- Each child’s original birth certificate.
- Each child’s latest report card if they have attended another school.
- Each child’s current passport and visa documents if born overseas.
Step 4: Preparing for Day One at School
Please organise school uniforms and other school requirements before the children start school. The WSS Uniform Price list 2025 (PDF, 0.5MB) details cost of uniforms available from the school’s uniform shop which operates Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 9.00am.
