Children must be aged 5 by 30 June in the year they start Prep. To determine if your child is eligible to enrol in Prep, please check the Education Queensland's
Online calculator. An original copy of your child’s birth certificate must be sighted before enrolment can be confirmed at our school. If you have misplaced your child’s birth certificate, you should organise a new copy by contacting the
Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages.
If your child was born in a country without a birth registration system, a passport or visa documents should be provided to show your child’s date of birth.
A parent information evening is held during the year and Prep enrolment interviews will take place early in Term 4. An Orientation morning will also be held to support your child’s transition to Prep.
