Welcome to the Wooloowin State School. It is my hope that this website captures some of the true magic of our exceptional school.
My staff and I are committed to providing a quality education for our students and we are proud to be part of a strong public education system. I am privileged to have been given the responsibility of helping to shape the lives of young people in the community – our leaders of tomorrow. I value and treasure the ongoing support from a dedicated and loyal P&C Association, parents and caregivers, a vibrant leadership team, our talented and passionate teaching and non-teaching staff, strong community partnerships – but most importantly – our greatest assets – our wonderful students!
Our school motto is “Building foundations for Life". At Wooloowin State School we build a positive learning culture, providing challenging, interactive and engaging learning experiences whilst nurturing relationships with families and the wider community. Our talented teaching and non-teaching staff are committed to developing in our students a true love of learning, developing confident, resilient young people who are well prepared for a meaningful future.
We are proud of the many achievements we get to celebrate at Wooloowin State School - academic excellence, social and emotional development, sporting brilliance, and cultural excellence to name just a few. Wooloowin state School believes in developing the potential of each student.
The Wooloowin state School spirit is obvious as you walk through our school. You will clearly see that our students thrive in an environment which encourages resilience and resourcefulness, combined with tolerance, understanding and respect for the diversity which exists in our community and world.
